Lauren Givan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) practicing individual therapy in Rocky River, OH. Additionally, She provides workshops for teen girls on resilience building and mental wellness.

She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2008. Lauren has over ten years experience providing support, coping skills, social skills and emotion regulation skills to children, adolescents and adults in group and individual therapy settings.

She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavior therapy. Lauren specializes in working with teen girls who struggle with anxiety and depression.  She believes in empowering young girls to take charge of their mental health by learning valuable skills to help foster resilience and enhance mental wellness utilizing an eclectic approach including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and creative interventions.
