The Impact of SCORE in NE Ohio The Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) has been helping small businesses in the 7 county NE Ohio region start, grow, and prosper since the late 60’s. In 2023 alone, Cleveland-SCORE created over 200 new businesses and over 900 new jobs. Small companies that use SCORE services continually provide testimonials on improved efficiencies and top line growth. About Our Speaker: Dave Lupyan retired from the Scott Fetzer Company (a subsidiary of the Berkshire-Hathaway Company) as a Business Unit Manager after 12 years. He then formed Lupyan & Associates to help start-ups and mid-market companies grow and scale with new product development programs in both B2B and B2C markets. Along with his consultancy, Dave currently works with Jumpstart and SCORE as a mentor and sits on a number of advisory boards of start-ups. He lectures at CSU at the Weston Ideation Center and advises on “Shark Tank” pitch contests throughout NE Ohio. Today, Dave will speak on the impact SCORE has on the entrepreneurial community and small companies in the 7 county NE Ohio area. SCORE is a partner of the SBA (Small Business Administration) and its resources are free. SCORE has made significant contributions to small companies throughout NE Ohio.
