Unmoored & Adrift: Searching for Meaning in our Lives

By every external standard and social convention, you are a success and leading a “good” life.  So why do you feel an emptiness, a longing for more?  Unsure and a bit guilty about your feelings, you continue to press harder, work longer, plan for the next rung on the success ladder and your next fabulous vacation.  But when those things arrive, the happiness you thought they’d bring is short-lived and superficial.  Before long, you begin the cycle again - another promotion, another purchase, another vacation…. Meanwhile, your work feels stressful and unfulfilling, and life feels more like a hamster wheel of fatigue.

You are not alone!

At some point in our lives we have an experience of being adrift, lost, unmoored, or longing for something meaningful and fulfilling that can’t be attained through consumerism, escapism or overwork.  This is what disconnection looks like - a deep need for “something” elusive and profoundly inexplicable - a search for meaning, fulfillment and purpose.

During this presentation, we’ll explore some of the ways in which we become disconnected and look at a 3 step plan for reconnecting with your personal mission and purpose.
