Uncovering the Hidden Business Costs of Poor Communication

Do you know the cost of poor communication?  According to research by Grammarly and The Harris Poll, it is estimated that U.S. businesses lose up to $1.2 trillion annually due to ineffective communication.   Additionally, The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) reports that large companies lose an average of $62.4 million per year in lost productivity due to miscommunications.

 Poor communication can lead to:

 Reduced Productivity
 Increased Operational Costs
 Lower Employee Morale and Engagement
 Decreased Customer Satisfaction
 Negative Impact on Team Collaboration
 Loss of Revenue
 Decreased Innovation and Creativity
Legal Risks and Compliance Issues
Higher Employee Turnover
Damaged Leadership Credibility

The good news?  By improving our communication skills, we can manage all of these losses.

Learn more about what poor communication actually means, what and how it's costing us, and what we can do about it.
